HelpCard works as a standard tap-and-pay card at approved retailers. Guidance is provided to discourage the purchase of undesirable goods, and the card is restricted to in-store use only. ATM withdrawals are not permitted to help protect the intended use of funds.

We currently take a small percentage from each donation to maintain the service. Our long-term commitment is to make the platform financially sustainable through partnerships and secondary revenue streams, enabling 100% of public donations to flow directly to cardholders.

We generate revenue through a small fee taken from donations, partnerships with retailers and through in-app advertising.

Rewards are offered based on donation milestones, ranging from retailer vouchers and complimentary coffees to exclusive tickets for popular entertainment events.

HelpCards are distributed in collaboration with trusted, frontline charities who work directly with vulnerable communities. This ensures donations reach those who genuinely need support. Our platform remains fully donor-controlled, giving you the freedom to decide if, when, and how much you want to give.

We restrict usage to essentials (food, shelter, pharmacies) to build donor trust, increase willingness to give, and ensure funds directly support basic needs. This approach balances dignity with protection and creates a stable foundation for individuals to progress toward financial inclusion and long-term independence.

HelpCard creates a new stream of public funding through transparent, cashless donations. By covering immediate needs, individuals gain stability and dignity while charities can redirect limited budgets toward long-term housing and support services.
